Interesting, easy to read story
Both my husband and I enjoyed this book. How many women would have even considered watching a fire tower middle of the Adirondacks back in 1942? The book is well written, easy to read and contains some interesting history from that time. I highly recommend it.

Pat Boone's testimony--but so much more...
Ok, for those of you who don't know, this is Pat Boone's personal story of how he came into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, through discovering that the Holy Spirit is a real person, not just an abstract theological concept. Because this is his personal story, as well as that of how his family came to the same experience, that is how it reads: as informally as if he were sitting with the readers in their own living rooms, having a conversation. The section of his book telling how his daughters were filled with the Holy Spirit is something I often find myself going back to and rereading when I am emotionally low; it picks me up every time! To make a possibly not-long-enough story short--get this book and read it. I don't believe you will be disappointed, especially if you're looking for meaning and purpose to life.

Night Creatures

Authors: Julian Mulock, Andrea Holden-Boone, and Simon M. Bell
Average review score:

A Cool Book
This book is really cool. It has fun and cool facts about night creatures. There is a 3D Stereo Focus that you put cards in and look through it and you see cool 3D pictures of a lot of night creatures like owls, bats, panthers, and a lot more. I recommend this book for kids that like night creatures and seeing them in 3D.

Prelude to Lazaris
Published in Audio Cassette by Concept Synergy (March, 1985)
Author: Steven Boone
Average review score:

gentle love is the upmost Love .....
This gentle music is angelic, I have never felt the same about any other piece of music. I am a constant searcher for good music and books via local bookstores and websites. This is as if it was not composed by human-kind. I own several of Lazaris's music, all CDs.
The pure strands of sweet music, full of love, generously and sensitively flow from the vast universe to me, to my heart, to my soul, and, from my soul recounting to the universe, as a prayer, like an incense, mingled and purified, as if I was at one with the play, at one with the Universe.
I thank you, David Frank and Steven Boone, together with Lazaris, for co-creating such measure for us. Thank you for the impossibility, yet possible.

There are several thousand books in my home. Beside my desk there is a shelf with the special books I travel with on speaking tours and those I refer to when I need the 'right' quote. This is one of those special books. You can't open a page without finding something delightful. I love this book.

LOVE THE DETAILED CHAPTERS
Often times books by the Boone and Crockett Club are just listings of records but that can be boring. I like this book because it has long and detailed chapters with plenty of historical photographs at the front of the book and I love the colored plates of illustrations by Guy Cohleach. This is a heavy book that is well-worth the pricetag. I counted a minimum of 300 photographs!! Great book for anyone who lives wild animals of North America. I bought this book with COLORADO'S BIGGEST BUCKS AND BULLS AND OTHER GREAT COLORADO BIG GAME, SECOND EDITION.

A MUST for Elk and Mule Deer Hunters
This hardcover book is a must for anyone, like myself, who loves to hunt elk and mule deer. Each state and province is separate in the book and each animal from the Boone and Crockett is listed by the state or province from which it was taken. I also found the book, COLORADO'S BIGGEST BUCKS AND BULLS and Other Great Colorado Big Game, Second Edition, to be of help when planning mule deer and elk hunts. The Records of North American Ek and Mule Deer book has excellent field photos and tons of statistical information about my two favorite animals. Plus, I liked the chapter written by Jim Zumbo.

The Goats Have My Vote
If you ever wondered where to hunt for wild sheep, Rocky Mountain goats and pronghorn, this is the book you must buy. I especially liked the illustration of the bighorn ram by Hayden Lambson the cover. This is an attractive book that is small enough to fit into my hunting backpack when hunting for these critters. Pronghorn are some of my favorite animals to track, so this book tells me that Wyoming is THE place to go for Boone and Crockett-quality animals. The book was written a few years ago but it is still a good place to start when doing your pre-season planning. I bought this book with the book COLORADO'S BIGGEST BUCKS AND BULLS AND OTHER GREAT COLORADO BIG GAME because I was in Colorado.
